Hey Holden: Beware of the Dangerous Animals in Juniper Park !

Now that Spring is upon us one must beware of the vicious animals of Juniper Park. If you listen to one civic association you would think that Juniper is overrun with Vicious Killer Dogs waiting for the second to strike. We recently toured Juniper and found families with their children and their Dogs! We totaled the number of Dogs where the little ones outnumbered the big ones by an overwhelming amount. Let's see, we saw Poodles, Shihtzu’s and Eskipoos. Are these the alleged vicious animals Holden and his JPCA talk about?!

The Patriots encourage you to spend a day in Juniper Park and see for yourself.
You will be happy to know that we are indeed safe! The JPCA wants to use the legal system to remove dogs from the Park. What a shame. They purport to represent our community but they are out of touch with the families of our Middle Village and Maspeth Communities.

The Patriots say “Families will be damned no more! Holden and the JPCA lose again!”

We should not let a few speak for the majority! The JPCA should be JPC “NO”. That’s all they do is say NO. “No to a Dog Run!” “No to a Hockey Rink!” “No to Dogs in the Park!” “No to Community Day” “No to the Veterans Memorial Wall” the list is never ending! Time to say NO TO JUNIPER CIVIC!

Maybe we should Protest outside of Bob Holden’s Illegal home on Caldwell Avenue. I wonder what those who decry “we need enforcement of illegal dwellings” would say about this hypocrite.

We should bring all of our Dogs to Bob’s Block. The self appointed King of Juniper! He is really Crap!

We know neighborhood Kids can’t play in the locked “Holden Fields” Maybe we should force the parks Department to open them up for all the taxpayers not just those with the biggest mouth.

Does Holden have so much influence because his wife worked for Governor Pataki?

Maybe Holden's wife worked for Govenor Pataki because Holden threatened that he would malign him in his Juniper Berry if the Govenor didn't hire her!!

Dear Mary, here's the latest word from the street - Holden and the JPCA are negotiating with the Parks Dept to pay Parks a fee so that they can maximize their use of the new ballfields. What is sad about this is our own State Senator, Serph Maltese, is giving Holden and the JPCA more than $25,000 this year from his Senatorial Funds. He provides Holden, along with all the local merchants who advertise in the Juniper Berry, the money they need to keep us out of what they consider as "their park". Our tax dollars being used against us and our children. Thanks Senator Maltese. We will remember this when election time rolls around. We will also remember who advertises in the Juniper Berry and make sure we pass them by next time we decide to go shopping.

I hate to be the one that says this, but to whomever put up this post: can you please change the word THERE to THEIR in the sentence: "We recently toured Juniper and found families with there children and there Dogs!"

I'm all for this blog, but I'm a school teacher and reading that just gives me chills.

Thank you for the heads up. I sometimes overlook the smallest things. I guess it comes with age. :)

April 10th, 2007, a humiliating defeat for Holden & Co. (MV's self-appointed, self-declared Hall Monitors).

JPCA wasted $10,000 of their own money on their lawsuit to end Off-leash dog hours in the parks and in the end, the policy is now declared legal and part of the Parks regulations!

Another "victory" for the JPCA. Nice going team! Let's see how Holden spins this one.

Holden and the JPCA didn't waste any of their money on a frivolous lawsuit. They used our tax payer dollars curtesy of Serf Maltese. The Senator thinks this will help insulate him from Bob's verbal attacks. Duh, guess again. I heard that Bob has already lashed out and attacked Serf's counsel, Anthony Como, at the County Republican Dinner, assisted by his ever present "lap dog" Tony. Question is, was Tony on a leash or allowed to run free between 9pm and 9am?

A community divided is a community that falls.
We all need to stop bashing and thank those that give their time and effort in keeping our community a great place to live. Enough Already!

The time has come for the people of Middle Village to voice their disgust with the retoric and lies being spewed by the JPC excutive members. All those who are angered by the actions of MR Holden, Mr Kamperman, Mr Nunziato, and Ms Wilkonson "The Crapper" just to mention a few should write letters telling them to stop. This community is above these petty games. To all of you grow up and get a life.

Its amazing how DPG once the best politcal buddy of Bob Holden is now is arch enemy. I wonder is it because Bob wants to run for City Council, and asked for and did not recieve DPG endorsemnt. You may ask why would DPG not endorse Bob, the answer is simple, just look at Bob"s behavior the during the last few months. Bob stated he has no political ambitions yet he ran for State Commitee aginst Ken Rudzwick and LOST!!!. Then there is Tony N who gripes that DPG prevented him from running aginst Marge Markey. How is that DPG prevented this. If you want to run you must get enough signatures on a valid petetion and run. Its up to the individual and his/her campaign staff to accomplish this task.

Sure, we're supposed to give thanks to the self-appointed, self-declared Hall Monitors of MV. Give me a break.

They are not altruistically volunteering their time to help the community. They are fanatically trying to control the community and shape it to their narrow vision. Anyone who disagrees is subject to personal attacks in their laughable taxpayer funded publication and on their website.

Many are encouraged, however, that the new Civic has so many members, that the JPCA's influence is rapidly dwindling, that they are losing Community Board seats, and that they've had several well publicized defeats recently. They are imploding. The chickens have come home to roost.

I think we should all petition Msr Savillo to boot these characters out of Our Lady Hope. How dare they continue to lie and slander people in a catholic Audatorium

Too much negativity.....Middle Village is now the laughing stock of our neighbors in Glendale, Maspeth and Ridgewood. They are just sitting back and waiting for our great neighborhood to crumble. No good can come of this. It is just a matter of time and no one will want to volunteer. I think all of this back and forth is so very sad. Some individuals need to sit down and talk and sort this mess out.

To me friend anonymous above me how true the JPCA war against its own volunteers and its friends is leading to division in Midle Village but thankfully many good people just ignore all of the BS they spread. They attack every elected. The go after the Banks. They fight 7-11 (Until 7-11 Funds the Midville Dodgers). They attack Walgreens (Until Bob Cuts a deal).
They attack everybody who disagrres with them. Even a PTA mom who wanted to stand up for what she believes.

If the surronding communities are looking they are laughing because the JPCA has become so pathetic.

Don't worry the good people of Middle Village still work on behalf of the community not themselves!
