Bob Holden and the Juniper Civic Declare War on own Volunteers

It has come to our attention that the Juniper Park Civic Association has decided to declare war on their own membership! Once again, the JPCA has proven that if you disagree with the oligarchy of the executive board you will be excluded from the civic, silenced from speaking and banished from future meetings.

Over the last few months the Juniper Park Civic Association has embroiled themselves in many lawsuits. They have decided not only to file lawsuits against the City, against the owners of St. Saviours, but are now considering filing a lawsuit because of fraudulent petitions that were submitted by themselves! However, their attacks are not limited to outside institutions because now they are attacking their own members.

An e-mail from an anonymous source informed the Patriots that at one meeting Bob Holden, the JPCA President for life, informed members who disagreed with "Il Duce Holden" that evening, “to leave and not to let the door hit you on the way out!” In another incident, a PTA mother dared to speak out against the dictator causing Bobby and his minions to unplug her microphone and prevent her from completing her thoughts. They immediately infringed on her freedom of speech because her opinion did not coincide with the JPCA agenda. To further embarrass this woman, they threw her twenty dollar membership fee back in her face and asked her to leave. These actions by the Juniper Park Civic Association is disgraceful and despicable and have no place in our community.

The latest chapter in the Juniper Park Civic's quest to silence its inside detractors was the removal of two of their volunteer legal counsels who dared to admonish some unscrupulous tactics and questioned the finances of the JPCA. Consequently, both were removed from the association without a vote from the general membership.

It is obvious that the JPCA no longer represents the residents or interests of our community. These few narrow minded tyrants who have a strangle hold on the JPCA continue to prove that its their way or the Long Island Expressway! America was built on the free flow of ideas and the elimination of tyranny. Our forefathers stood together against those who sought to infringe on their right and so shall we fight against those who try to undermine and destroy our community.

What do they have to hide? Are their Finances that Shady? This Group’s leadership is worse then Mussolini!

Gallagher removed the members from the community Board legally and justifiably “King Holden of Juniper” just cast them away despite years of dedication!

I represent a Dog owners Group you should see the info we are gathering on Bob Holden. He has broken almost every law. Time will catch up to him and his cohorts. You can run for office but you can not hide!

I understand that Bob’s actions have caught the attention of a certain investigative body! The world will see!

Wonder what Al at the Buildings department has to say. Perform any illegal work Al? Yes a witness already has spoken to law enforcement. Who paid you the Cash Al? Was it Bob Holden from Juniper Civic Money? Ask Bob’s wife the former Assistant to Governor Pataki what she thinks about the Midville Dodgers Audit? Spending Money for your self from a non for profit Bob?

Brother B has a lot to say. He is still angry at your “Heavy Hand” Bob.

This guy Holden is such a hypocrite I just got another piece of his hate mail asking for dues... for what so he can be Political with Civics money. This guy has gone to far the time is now to stop him.

Did you know that Bob Holden has used the Juniper Park Civic Association treasury to pay politicians campaigns? The JPCA's check was found to be in violation of City Campaign Finance Laws.

I have been a member of JPCA for years I never once heard a Treasures report. Now I know why! Can we as members sue to see the books opened up? I mean if this guy Holden is using the Civic money to pay for illegal conversion to his home and for Political parties something is wrong.

I know Al he lives on 79 street. He is an executive member of the civic and works for the buildings department. He does work all over the community- without permits. He and Bob are long time buddies.

The Patriots only touched on the tip of the JPCA iceberg. King Holden of Juniper has banished many of his Civic volunteers. A short list:

Ernie Chirichella
Vinny Brinigan
Tiffinay Eliot
Tom Losquadro
Tom Ognibene
Frank Toomey
Timothy Higgins
Arlene Lancetta
William Schindler
Jake LaSala
Gabe Tapalaga

Bob declared war a long time ago on Civic volunteers. He uses the civic for his own Political advancement and for his own financial gain. I will email the Patriots all of the information I am a 18 year member of JPCA I go now just to see what is going on, a once proud civic has been dragged into the mud by Bob Holden, and that young “Weeble” Mrs. St. Saviours.

What ever happened to Civic leader and Holden buddy Roger Detrano? They were inseparable.

The Patriots should do an article on how JPCA is at war with the community from the failure to support Markey and Gallagher against the Maspeth Halfway house, to the war against Our Lady of Hope Sports Association from using the Upper ball fields. How about the support they are giving behind the scene to Walgreen’s and as soon as 7-11 donates to Bob Holden he thinks it’s a great thing for Middle Village. We should revolt as the membership and vote that phony dictator out!

Hey Patrick did you go away for the weekend? We missed you! Once again you are right on target. Keep up the great work!

I find the Patriots Juniper Civic and Bob Holden comments to be right on target ask anyone in Middle Village about Bob they know he is a Political Wannabe. But please focus on other issues especially preservation issues and quality of life issues. Maybe delve into the history of our great Queens County.

An open Note to Commissioner Lewendowski:

The upper ball fields in Juniper Valley Park do not belong to the special interest ball clubs that play in for profit leagues and are designed for profit! The fields belong to the people! Not the best players from Long Island signed on to play for Midville. The Ball Fields are for the Taxpaying City Residents.

For the young men and woman who are looking for a place to play. Do you know how frustrating it is to go to the park with my children and a few friends and see perfectly good ball fields just sitting unused? My Tax dollars paid for the renovation, and my tax dollars were paying for the Dodgers to keep the fields locked! Shame on the Parks Department for allowing this! Shame on the elected officials for allowing this! Shame on anyone who supports or condones this behavior! As a member of Our Lady of Hope I just received a letter in my home about this miscarriage of justice linking me to this site. I hope this organization has the moral courage to stand up for the "Real" people of Middle Village, not community board 5 members who are President of a civic and use power to advance themselves. Commissioner stand up for the little guy, the ones who are not corrupting the system!

Our Lady of Hope has a very nice ball field. Why not let the public play there? How come you don't play there?

As a parishioner of St. Margarets, we use the locked up fields for our games. I am happy that the fields are well kept and that our kids have a nice field to play on. We play Our Lady of Hope on those fields. And I agree with the blogger above, Our Lady of Hope does have a nice field in back of the Church. I am sure the field needs to be locked up to keep it nice. Otherwise ........
