Gioia: The King of Pay to Play...

Looking towards the end of Term Limits Elected Officials are vying for a new place to land on the public payroll. One Council Member the always ambitious Eric Gioia has become the King of the “Political Pay to Play Gang”.

If you meet Eric and tell him you want to do business with the City within a few days BAM you get one of his fancy fundraising letters and a call from a Gioia Lackey begging for cash! Eric is so skilled he gets more money from Developers then 98% of the New York City Council including the Speaker! Queens’ folks who call themselves leaders stay away from criticizing him, party loyalty has demanded too much! But if one looked close I am sure he does favors for Political Contributions. So the Leader of the Councils Pay to Play Gang will live on. What a shame!

Here is what the Citizens Union had to say "Citizens Union supports the adoption of strong legislation that would 'restrict' political contributions from those who do business with the city and has advocated for such reforms consistently over the past several years. It is our hope that the Council will soon propose and pass such legislation that the Mayor would then sign into law. We believe this is a preferable and more effective way to achieve the goal of addressing the issue of 'pay to play" contributors…” The Patriots wonder if Councilman “Pay to Play” would Agree? For Eric’s Fundraising we crown him The King!

This is no surprise! What is a surprise is no one in the media touches him you should also name him the Teflon King nothing sticks to him.

You know why Eric did nothing in the Elmhurst Gas Tank Fight because he was taking money from Mattone the Developer. While big Developers Pay to Play with him his community suffers!

I wonder what Eric’s holier than now Cousin Tony the Other Florist Nunizita Has to say about Eric’s fundraising? I mean Tony is quick to criticize every other elected official I guess Blood is thicker than water. Hey Tony take a look at your cousins filings you will see more developers including ones that do work in his district.
