As i am sure you are all aware of the tragedy that occurred today at Virginia Tech. This is just another example of how in a blink of an eye, things can take a turn for the worse very quickly. Over the past 10 years, we as Americans have experienced several occurrences like this and it is never an easy thing to deal with.
I would like us all to take the time out to be appreciative for the people and things we hold near and dear to us. Also, for anyone effected either directly or indirectly by this and other dreadful events,

Something as tragic and senseless as this puts into perspective the fighting, character assasinations and jealousies that have been ongoing between certain leaders here in our community in its proper place - in a trash can where it belongs.
Maybe its time to move on, if not for the betterment of all in our communities, than in respect for the VT victims.

Maybe just maybe we will realize how we need to secure ourselves. If a student can do this what about a Terrorist?
