Holden's Forked Tounge; (Term Limits?)

The Juniper Berry is speaking from both sides of their mouth again..

Bob Holden, the self proclaimed King of Juniper continues to cry like a little baby about the removal of Ed Kamperman from Community Board 5. However, Bobby H. because of his selective memory forgets about the persuasive article he wrote as editor of the Juniper Berry. When the article was written, Mr. Holden was out of power so he struck a deal with former Councilman Tom Ognibene. The deal was abundantly clear, Ognibene removes members of the Board and Holden gains the power he covets.

The Juniper Berry of which Bob was Editor stated:

“Now is the time to introduce mandatory term limitations for executive bodies governing community boards. For this member of Community Board 5, term limits can hopefully do away with the old boy network that has dominated the Board’s Executive Committee for years.”

The article you went on to say:

“…the executive board remains tightly controlled by several individuals who use their position to enhance their solid ties to the insurance, real estate and construction industry”

As a member of the executive committee Bob sold out to the construction and real estate industry.

The article continued and stated “But it (Community Board Term Limits) could be the catalyst for the diffusion of hostilities and could expand opportunities for new talents to serve our community.”

Well Bob we certainly need something that would defuse your hostilities! The article concluded with a very powerful message:

“Term Limits could serve as a starting point for putting the house of Board 5 back in order. The communities of Board 5 deserve no less.”

We agree with you Bob stop the presses!

Once again, Holden was in favor of term limits when it suited his purposes and against it when it did not coincide with his agenda. Consequently, when Councilman Gallagher puts new people on the Board to introduce new ideas and a new energy to the board, Bob and his cronies yell foul because it is not in THEIR best interests.

Stop wining Bob and follow your own advice. Term limits are good and should be applied to community boards as well as civic associations.

I believe in Term Limits for City Council and Community Boards. Let new people have a chance to serve.

Holden does not want Term Limits he craves all the Power

Maybe if Community Board members were term limited Bob wouldn't intimidate the parks department into getting exclusive rights for the Juniper Upper Ball Fields.

Holden absolutely abuses his Power as a community board vice chair he should be removed

Claire Shulman and Helen Marshall both missed a chance to help the Community Board run effectively and without corruption by removing Bob Holden

Boron Pres Marshall is a nice woman but she really doesn't know about Bob's illegal activity.

The Beep must have her head in the sand, everyone knows Bob uses his students at New York Tech to profit.

Term Limits should be imposed on all levels of Government. The State Senate should have term limits to get that relic Serf Maltese out of office, and the Council nobody will miss them. Marge Markey no one would know the difference.

I wonder how much Bob has pocketed over the years. A perfect example is Walgreen’s remember when he hated it now a check or two later and what do you know he loves it!

Hey what about 7 - 11 Bob hated them until he got cash for his Midville Dodgers. What a sham operation he runs.

This site is so unfair to Mr. Holden can you prove he profits from his civic or his baseball team?

Hey I will Post an apology to Bob if he tells us where he files for his non for profit. I will also post an apology if Bob Juniper Civic ever decides to have a Treasures report at a meeting. I would tell Bobbie the abuser I was sorry if he proved that he doesn't have an illegal basement with an illegal business.

I guess I won’t be saying sorry anytime soon.

Hey why don't you say sorry to all those this thug ripped off including the taxpayers.

How about a special term limit for Tony the Tulips daughter.

This statement is as true today as it was when Holden’s Berry printed it: "the executive board remains tightly controlled by several individuals who use their position to enhance their solid ties to the insurance, real estate and construction industry” Go one step further and talk about how members profit. Thank God the Patriots are on the job exposing fraud.

Who ever is behind this site. We will find you and expose you for the idiots you are. Free speech has gone to far.

Who cares about Holden and his agenda. The more important issue here is that CB' should be elected (not appointed) AND have term limits.

Oh, hypocrisy, thy name is Holden!

You Patriots wish you were 1/2 the man Bob Holden is

Bob is salivating now that we have term limits for City Council he believes he can win. Many candidates are better suited then you Bob. You will finally come down to earth.

Half the man Bob Holden is are you kidding me? A real man never, never uses a heavy hand against his woman or his kids. You have a weird sense of values to idolize Holden.

PS How does the Kool-Aid taste
