Joe Torre Leaves with Pride of the Yankees

If you are a Yankee fan or not, you must admit that Joe Torre is a class act. He was extremely successful by any professional sport standards. During his twelve year tenure as Yankee skipper he brought 10 division titles and 4 World Series trophies to New York City. More importantly, Joe Torre did it with professionalism, decency and dignity. I am glad that Joe Torre did not let the goons of the front office take those rare attributes away from him.

Good for Joe Torre...Its amazing to hear how the Yankee brass treated him after the 12 winning years he gave them. Remember before Torre it was over a decade since they were in a World Series. True he gained a HUGELY talented team, but he did a great job with mixing and geling the players and providing leadership.

It also goes to show the definitive lack of class King George still has. This is the same guy who drove away Lou Pinella and Yogi Berra. I grew up a Yankee fans as a kid and after seeing what a piece of work he was at the tender age of 11, became a Mets fan..

The Yankees should hire Willie Randolf so he can stop screwing the Mets!
