JPCA Executive Weekly Agenda

We took a page out of the Juniper Park Civic Association play book and did some super sleuthing of our own. We broke into Bob's illegally converted basement, hacked into his tax payer funded computers and rummaged through his garbage. You should see some of the disturbing items we found in his garbage. (We will be featuring those discoveries in our new series, "What Bob Throws Away Will Make You Sick").

Our many hours of sneaking around paid off. We have posted what we discovered for your viewing pleasure.

You forgot the following executive board agenda items:

1) Slander Gallagher as much as possible for the outrage of him not marching in complete lockstep with Holden. How dare an elected official have the gaul not to follow il duce bobby.

2) Plot how they can gain revenge from Benepe due to their repeated losses against Sir Adrian.

3) Hide behind trees in Juniper Valley Park and spy on neighbors not listening to Auntie Lu-rain's orders.

4) Call students at tech college to draw new propaganda illustrations.

5) Write endless compaint letters to elected officials.

6) Think about how to use up all the extra time on their hands not spent harassing Middle Village neighbors.

Why is it that right now at 354 pm on a friday, that the upper ballfields are locked. I want an answer.
Also i was talking to somebody and they told me that Steve Fiedler owns the upper ball fields , correct me if I am wrong but, NYC owns them, please write back.

I do not understand why Walgreen's should not be a 24 hour store. I live around the corner & have had the occasion of a sick child or preparing for something late at night where the convenience would be wonderful.

Do we really think that kids will hang out in a lighted parking lot of a drug store?? Everyone I have spoken with seems to feel the same way. I welcome any reasons against a 24 hour store.

Thanks,

Terri

Terri:

The reason against Walgreens opening 24 hours is perfectly logical and obvious: It's the whim and will of the unelected, unrepresentative, hate-filled, and arrogant JPCA executive board. Don't you know they speak for the entire community (including you)?

I am all for Walgreens being opened 24 hours.

When they open....tell the Manager, and ask him to pass on your request to Management. Hopefully, they will listen and give it a try. If enough customers do that, there will be a good chance of it happening.

I thought we were anti-Walgreens, pro-Artis?

I am for Artis and I think their customers will be loyal customers. Unfortunately, Walgreens is across the street and people will go there. Being open 24 hours in the event of a prescription emergency is a good thing.

Hopefully Artis does not sell out....if it does will everyone go to Walgreens? I think so.
