The radio fossils in stale suits who meet in stuffy conference rooms decided to bring Don Imus back to the radio. In their limited wisdom, they hope that the idiot will bring huge ratings to WABC but it is only a matter of time before Imus puts his head up his anus again. We at the Patriots don’t know what is more offensive, Imus calling the Rutgers women’s basketball team a bunch of “nappy headed ho’s” or trying to disguise his racial ignorance by hiring two African Americans. That’s almost as ridiculous as a racist defending himself by stating he had a black friend in high school.
Curtis and Kuby were New York City radio. They spoke about issues that New Yorkers were concerned with. Don Imus just pontificates about national issues and is no different than the other talking heads that inundate the airwaves.
New York City will miss Curtis and Kuby.
