WAS BOB HOLDEN AND THE QUEENS CRAP LYING THEN OR LYING NOW? (PART 3)

Robert Holden, his lap dog Tony Nunziato, and their blog the Crapper are the poster children for the tragic world of political expediency, self-preservation, lying, cheating, and putting the needs of your own over others. So it should be of no surprise they will flip-flop on any issue or stance if it helps them effectuate their evil intentions.

It appears that Robert Holden and Crappy are supporting Elizabeth Crowley, but here is what they said about Elizabeth Crowley just a few months ago. Is Holden and Crappy lying now or were they lying then, or are they again just showing that they are shameful opportunists and disgraceful hypocrites…..

Lizzy's campaign finance violations in detail

In January 2005, Elizabeth Crowley's failed 2001 campaign was audited. The following violations were found by the Campaign Finance Board:
You would think a lien would have been put on her accounts, but she has raised $158,850 thus far and has yet to pay off all of the $56,267 penalty. How is she permitted to run for office with outstanding fines on record from 7 years ago? You can't get away with that at DMV...

Furthermore, Councilman Sheldon Leffler was convicted for almost identical campaign finance fraud in 2003. Why wasn't Dizzy Lizzy indicted? Answer: Leffler was an anti-establishment candidate while Crowley is princess of the Queens Democratic Machine.

Elizabeth Crowley hung out with Brian "The Crook" McLaughlin for 6 years. She had to learn a thing or two about stealing. He even locked himself in the office with her.

BTW, did anyone get that Crowley piece with her family on the cover? What a bunch of hillbillies! Could anyone smile in the photo and could they get some decent clothes?
And what about that little girl in the photo? Did anyone think to dress her with something that looked presentable?
My God that photo is going to give me nightmares.

Charles Ober seems to be the only candidate that had the nerve to ask Crowley about the money she owes the taxpayers. It is about time that someone brought this up. The fact that she was given a pass up to now was wrong. Crowley also avoided the JPCA because she knew that someone would ask the question and she did not want to answer it. I think that she under estimated Ober and thought that Ober would not ask her the question, on TV, in front of millions of people. Crowley's question to Como actually sealed the fact that Crowley and Como are working together.

This goes back to the 2006 election when serf lost the election at 10:40 P.M. and than won the election 10 minutes later. The Republicans and the Democrats sealed a deal (that the Democrats would not ask for an official recount or an investigation into where the race was stolen) and gave Serf the seat with the condition that Serf would help Crowley in 2008. That's why when Ognibene threw his hat in the ring Como all of the sudden threw his name in the ring. They figured that Como would divide the Republicans vote and Crowley would waltz right in. BUT they never figured Ober would run. They thought that Nolan had Ober under wraps. They figured that Nolan would side step Ober and keep him from running. I am sure that Nolan told county that Ober can't run and he would never run.

Nolan underestimated Ober's ability to run, his stamina to run, his dedication to run and even though Nolan threatened all of Ober's friends to not help him, she never realized that Ober had many other friends out side of the Nolan controlled Democratic Club. That is why things are so crazy right now. Because Nolan never saw this coming. Nolan does not realize how much Charles has done to keep things running all these years. All the good things Ober has done for all the organizations he belongs to. All the work he has done for his community.

The fact of the matter is, the voters need to look at the entire picture. Every one that has endorsed Crowley must be saying to the voters that stealing and criminal activity is OK to commit. How can anyone run for office when you have a debt that you owe to the tax payers because you tried to commit fraud by stealing the taxpayers money. and all these politicians that endorsed Crowley must believe that committing fraud and stealing the tax payers money is OK? HMMMMMM

Why doesn't anyone explain the reason Crowley has to pay the 50,000 in fine?

Crowley was fined because she had money order contributions that contained 16 consecutive numbers. Which means that someone bought the 16 checks and gave them to others to give to her campaign? This would allow the Crowley campaign to qualify for matching funds for those 16 people. Up to 16,000 in city money for Crowley and the crook Mclaughlin to spread the lies.

That same year 2001 former Councilman Sheldon Leffler was indicted and convicted of the same campaign scheme of distributing consecutive money orders to others to qualify for more matching funds. The money for the money orders was given to Leffler by a real estate donor.

How come Leffler was indicted for consecutive checks and Crowley was fined? This clearly shows how people like Crowley in this town with connections to the machine do not have to worry about law and order. That is why the crooks run this town.

Crowley and Leffler both violated campaign finance law when they filed false claims for public matching funds for their 2001 races.

"Sheldon S. Leffler, a former city councilman, was convicted of fraud in 2003 in connection with $10,000 funneled to his campaign by a real estate company owner, who wrote out 38 money orders in the names of her employees, tenants and relatives without their knowledge. Just last week, the board imposed $20,000 in penalties on a Council candidate, Elizabeth S. Crowley, for "failing to respond completely and adequately" to questions about 16 money-order contributions made to her 2001 campaign." from the New York Times.

WHY WAS LEFFLER INDICTED AND CROWLEY NOT FOR THE SAME CRIME IN THE SAME ELECTION?

Someone better tell the Ober campaign that Michael Mascetti is working for Crowley to get info from Ober's campaign manager to get back to Crowley. They promised him a lot of money for his nonprofit if he gets info out of the campaign manager and gives it to Crowley.

I got wind of this a few days ago at Crowley's campaign that Michael had told Crowley's people that he had an in with the Ober campaign and that he could get info out of the campaign to give to Crowley and they promised him a lot of money for his non-profit and something about Michael's father needing a job in the union. so beware Ober that this is out there. Can someone please get this message to the Ober People in case he is in contact with them. They need to know about this right away.

Why do we automatically believe that McLaughlin taught Dizzie Lizzie a thing or two about stealing?

Isn't it just as likely that the Crapleys were the prime instigators here?

Cousin Congressman pimps out Lizzie to trap the innocent McLaughlin in a honey pot, and he shares with the dumbass family (yes, including Como).

This explanation proves The Diz does, too, have brains.

Oops. Brian is spilling the beans to save his skin.

Soon we'll know everything.

So, why let this honey pot get on the public payroll now? We'll just have to toss her ass off very soon - and, then have still another special election.

Meet the 2 Ton Family...

Since QC likes to make fun of CM Como weight, and now his wife (a real low-life move), I figured that we should take a look at Nunziato’s family to see how "fit" they are.

Mmmm, Looks that Tony must have some really strong support beams in his house too. The only difference between Nunziato’s house and CM Como’s house is … Nunziato lives in a shit hole, and CM Como lives in a mansion.

Guess that is the real difference between going to law school and selling flowers.

Holden Busted for Political Favoritism Fraud and Finagling

A JPP tipster and Juniper Park Civic Association insider has revealed that Tricky Dick Holden continues to be an unscrupulous fraud and manipulator. Apparently, the reason Holden, Nunziato, Wilkinson and Scuilli kept changing the debate dates is because Crowley and Addabbo had scheduling conflicts. That's mighty accommodating of Holden the sham boy. I wonder if the candidates who aren't in Bob's good favor would have been granted the same consideration.

NOT!

On October 23rd, there was a big Queens County democratic dinner featuring Shrillary Clinton and of course the two party machine cogs had to attend. So bullshit Bob, who has lambasted the Queens County democrats eagerly rescheduled the debate for October 30th to allow Crowley and Addabbo to attend.

Oh Boobie Holden, you are such a transparent sorry excuse for a human being. We would have more respect for you if you just told the truth. You are losing and you will lie, steal and cheat to survive. I have to give Avella credit for now staying away from you because Avella doesn't sell out to save his ass.

Holden is just a big piece of crap.

Holden Pulls Strings on His Puppets Nunziato and Crowley

As you can imagine, the debate last night was a Holden puppet show. The carefully crafted political attack disguised as a fair debate forum was quickly unmasked. Especially, when you have Lorraine The Crypt Keeper' Sciulli moderating, Christina Wilkinson handing out pre-fabricated loaded questions and Bob Holden raising "applaud" signs as after his candidates answered question.

My old Army buddy from Korea and I were laughing hysterically as we observed Holden, Crowley, Nunziato, Wilkinson and Sciulli scurry around the floor like little weasels whispering in each other ears to synchronize their diabolical plan. However, it looked like the cat got out of the bag because only a few candidates showed up to participate in the Holden charade. Hevesi, Markey, Como and Schmidt decided that the debate would be poorly and unfairly organized like every other JPCA meeting.

The one highlight of the evening was that Senator Serphin Maltese (a fellow Korean War vet, I might add) did a great job debating Joe Addabbo. Despite the obvious bias of the moderator and the obvious Holden support of Joe Addabbo (be careful Joe you don't want to be the JPCA Man of the Year, because 6 months later they will attack you, your family and friends).

Holden and his wooden puppets are performed their last show. The puppets are starting to rot, the strings are starting to fray and Holden is on the brink of a nervous breakdown. Hopefully, the next Holden debate will be done from his padded room and the voices in his head will be the only ones debating.

Crowley can't answer fraud

charges

Excellent reporting by the Queens Chronicle this week:

Crowley was not eligible for matching funds because of outstanding fines from campaign finance violations committed by her campaign during her bid for City Council in 2001 against ex-councilman Dennis Gallagher, whose April 18 resignation necessitated the special election.

According to a CFB audit, the Crowley campaign was required to pay $56,267 in penalties, $22,207 of which was for exceeding expenditure limits. Another $20,000 was for failure to adequately explain allegations of money order fraud — allegations the campaign denied. The penalties are currently being paid on an installment plan.

Anonymous said...

We keep reading here about her huge campaign account for the special election, why is she being permitted to pay her fines on an installment plan?

Anonymous said...

Gallagher no longer controls the blog. He lost all interest quite a long time ago once his legal issue surfaced. It is now run by a near senile old man who though still friendly with Gallagher, maintains an independent streak. A streak that has him favoring Como. Thus, "sorry old friend", but you're girl Lizzie has to go kind of thing. Gallaghers loss of grip on the blog is similiar to his loss of grip on his fake civic association. Notice how that (and it's lapdog, Fat Cimino) went straight underground after the indictment? Connect all the dots.

As a republican, it's good to hear that Gallagher is a closet democrat.

Let me just say that this woman is a con artist and scammer, who will do anything to raise funds for her campaign. I will not say what industry I work in, for fear of retribution. What I will say, however, is that she took money (LOTS of money$$$) from us and said she would support our industry and cause. Otherwise we would not have given her a dime. Then, a little over a week after she cashed the checks, she alligned herself with an opposing group! It is unbelievable that she wuold misrepresent her intentions and beliefs in order to make money. Doesnt she know we are the ones voting for her? She is not a very intelligent person, either!

Tony Nunziato afraid of Marge Markey

Looks like our assessment of Tony Nunziato candidacy has been confirmed!

He is nothing but a coward, and Holden puppet.

The only way Tony “Tulips” Nunziato would debate Assemblywoman Marge Markey is a under the close watch of Bob Holden and the JPCA board.

Only at a JPCA meeting can puppet Nunziato do the bidding of puppetmaster Holden, and be assured of everything being slanted to favor him and against his opponent. Nunziato would never, and could never debate Markey in a neutral setting away from Bob Holden and the JPCA board as a whole. Being a Holden bobble head and lapdog is all that Nunziato has as his claim to fame. (We have already shown that the Maspeth-Middle Village Task Force is nothing more than a Holden/JPCA make-believe group so that that Nunziato could receive some publicity for this campaign).

Tony Nunziato should be ashamed of trying to scam the voters of Middle Village and Maspeth, and putting Bob Holden in touch with taxpayer's money.

Gallagher behind Nunziato's bid for Assembly

We have conformed from an anonymous source at the Tony Nunziato's campaign office, that 2005 JPCA Man of the Year, Dennis Gallagher is advising him.

The source states that since Gallagher is working on both Liz Crowley’s and Anthony Como’s campaign (as per Queens Crap), Nunziato asked the former councilman for his help.

Here at Reflushed, we have received the following posting, “Dennis Gallagher is a political god. He is a myth, a legend and strategical genius. Even after all that has happened, he is running Crowley's and Como campaign. He is writing anonymous letters and sending them to voters. He is still the focus of Holden's psychosis. Gallagher is the Karl Rove of Middle Village.”

Guess Tony figured that Gallagher is hated less then Bob Holden in Middle Village and Maspeth communities, so he might as well ask him for help in raising his poll numbers.

Robert Holden and Queens Crap Helping Crowley Lie About UFT Endorsement

Robert Holden and the Queens Crap want you to believe that Elizabeth Crowley has the UFT endorsement for the upcoming General Election. They will lie, disseminate false information and provide you with old information to get you believe their bull crap. Thankfully, you have the Patriots to provide you with the truth.

This is what the morons over at the Crap had to say,

"According to UFT's website, Elizabeth was endorsed by the organization at a meeting earlier this year:

"The delegates endorsed Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver (64th AD-Manhattan) for re-election and Elizabeth Crowley (30th CD-Queens) for a special election to the City Council

I guess Holden and Crappy can't read because it clearly states "SPECIAL ELECTION" the UFT has pulled the endorsement of Elizabeth Crowley because they know she just can't win. She lost in 2001, she lost in 2005, and she lost in June 2008.

Here is the UFT Endorsement list dated June 26th….notice that Elizabeth Crowley is NOT on the list.

Look What Group Is Back

It looks like The Sons and Daughters of Middle Village are back and they are once again calling for the head of Bob Holden. However, they are praising Christina Wilkinson and Ed Kamperman which makes us a little queasy.

Here is the letter,

THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF MIDDLE VILLAGE AND
MASPETH

Dear Friends,

We feel compelled to reach out to our dear friends and neighbors to appeal to their common sense, decency, and good judgment. In the recent past, we have endured the commandeering of our beloved civic association by individuals using their leadership for their own political gain. Robert Holden is now supporting Elizabeth Crowley who was once deemed as the worst the Queens Democratic Machine has to offer. He continuously has attacked democratic machine politics when it suited his needs but now he is embracing their candidate for his own personal gain.

Christina Wilkinson has stood steadfast by her beliefs and her convictions. She stood by Charles Ober who was viciously attacked by the Queens Democratic Party because he challenged Crowley and her powerful friends. To her credit, Ms. Wilkinson continues her resolve by not publicly supporting Robert Holden's hypocrisy. In addition, Ed Kamperman supports Republican candidates Tony Nunziato and Anthony Como despite Robert Holden's backroom deals with the Crowley's. Both Wilkinson and Kamperman stand by their views and have stood strong in the face of growing pressure from Robert Holden to support his candidate and they should be commended.

The Juniper Park Civic Association was once a respectable, reputable, and honorable organization that performed great services to the community. Unfortunately, under the leadership of Robert Holden, the civic association has become a political sounding board for the president and no longer a mechanism for the will of the people. As we stand together to uphold our decision for term limits for the Mayor and City Council we should also demand term limits for all civic association presidents and members' right to choose their leadership. Over twelve years of Robert Holden is enough, it is
time for a change.

Remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely. We appeal to the dedicated members of the Juniper Park Civic Association to stand up and take their organization back from the self-serving hands of Robert Holden.

The Sons and Daughters of Middle Village and Maspeth

Say it Ain't So Joe Addabbo

According to this photograph submitted to the Patriots via email it looks like Councilman Joe Addabbo is violating the NYC Department of Sanitation's illegal posting law.

Elizabeth Crowley Lies About UFT Endorsement

Just when you thought she couldn't get anymore stupid she proves you wrong.

According to an e-mail received by the Juniper Park Patriots and the Queens Crap, a teacher has revealed that Elizabeth Crowley is misrepresenting her endorsement by the UFT.

The e-mail stated, as a long time member of the United Federation of Teachers I am extremely disappointed that a candidate for elected office would misrepresent the endorsement of the UFT.

Elizabeth Crowley does not have the endorsement of the UFT in the upcoming election, therefore she should refrain from handing out campaign literature with the UFT endorsement in bold letters.

I have attached the piece of literature to this e-mail which I received in the mail with a letter regarding absentee ballots.

Poor Elizabeth, she is so desperate to win that she is now fabricating endorsements.

Is Elizabeth Crowley Stupid or Just Dumb?

On Tuesday morning our quiet neighborhood streets were invaded by wide-eyed, foaming from the mouth, crazed Working families party members led by their candidate Liz Crowley, shouting from bull-horns urging sleepy residents to vote out Councilman Como because he was supporting the Mayor's proposal to extend term limits. However, Como had already made a statement to NY1 stating that he would not support the term-limit legislation.

The working families party even praised the local councilman for his stance at the same time Dizzy Lizzy was shouting through a bullhorn lambasting him. Elizabeth Crowley should get her facts straight before disturbing local residents; doesn't Mr. Softee get tickets for playing their trademark song too loud? Where is Liz's ticket for being stupid?

We here at the Patriots feel sorry for Elizabeth because she just can't help herself.

Como says NoNo to Term Limits Extension Legislation

According to NY1 and NY Daily Politics

Councilman Anthony Como again, came out in opposition to any legislation that seeks to over-turn the will of the voters.

More Council Members Join Opposition To Term Limits Extension
By: NY1 News
Republican Queens Councilman Anthony Como came out against extending term limits this morning, joining other council members who have publicly stated their opposition to the new legislation.

Como is the 19th council member to side against the bill, leaving 17 council members undecided on the matter. While 15 council members have expressed support for the legislation, another 11 council members would be needed to pass the bill.

City council members opposed to Mayor Michael Bloomberg's bid to extend term limits are trying to rally undecided colleagues to their side.

Yesterday in Park Slope, Brooklyn Council Members Bill de Blasio and Letitia James joined a protest against extending term limits.

De Blasio and James last week sent a letter to Council Speaker Christine Quinn's staff, suggesting any move by the council to extend term limits may be illegal, and that voters should decide on the issue.

De Blasio said the debate is far from over.

"There's obviously something powerful happening among members of the council," said de Blasio. "Members are talking to each other, they're listening to their communities and I think you're going to see more and more people say this is unacceptable."

Quinn announced Sunday she had changed her mind, and would support the bill.

With questions swirling over what caused Quinn to make the switch, the mayor insisted yesterday there was no deal cut between them.

"My staff has been working with her, it's an administration bill, that's what our [staff does]," said Bloomberg. "There's certainly no backroom deal here. I get 20 questions a day about it, I don't know how you can call that a backroom deal."

Councilman Como Stands Up for Voters

Looks like our newly elected councilman is showing some true grit and standing up for voters unlike so many others holding political office.

Here at the Patriots we give credit when credit is warranted; therefore we congratulate Councilman Anthony Como for saying NO to repealing term limits.

"I hate to say it, because we are in trying times and the mayor would be good for the city's future for another term, but it's the law and it's not something we should do with one fell swoop of the pen." said the Council's newest member, Anthony Como.

Congratulations to Anthony Como for standing up for what the people voted for and their desire to have term-limits implemented.

Lizzy Crowley Gone Wild

Poor Elizabeth Crowley is losing her marbles. Recently, “Dizzy Lizzy” (a nickname given to her by Bob Holden, the JPCA and Queens Crap) has been spotted handing out campaign literature urging people to vote for her during the special election being held on June 3rd.

JUNE 3RD!?!

Disgusted people just walk away shaking their heads in utter disbelief upon receipt of this erroneous information. They whisper to themselves softly, "Can she be that stupid?" She has been, however, desperately trying to conceal the wrong date by strategically placing an Avery label over the wrong election date. I wonder why Bob Holden hasn’t criticized her publicly on his blog, website, or periodical rag. Could it be that Bob is so desperate that he is forced to align himself with Dizzy Lizzy? This is disgraceful even for the always shameful Bob Holden.

Dizzy Lizzy is now too good for Parkside Group because over the last two months she realizes she must be a grassroots candidate. Are you serious Liz? Do you believe this hogwash Bob Holden, Christina Wilkinson, Tony Nunziato, JPCA members? Or maybe Liz just doesn’t want to pay the money she owes Parkside group. Maybe the Parkside Group dropped Liz Crowley because of her un-electability, c’mon; the woman has lost about 236 elections in a row. Or is Liz a candidate that walks away from her responsibilities just because it is politically expedient? You decide. Ask yourself was Holden wrong then or is he wrong now?

At the end of the day, it looks like Dizzy Lizzy has found her soul mate in Bobble head Holden. The two give new meaning to fair-weather friends, political opportunists and lying sacks of crap.

Where is Avella?

Maybe on vacation?

Has anyone else notice the absence of CM Tony Avella from Bob Holden’s side?? He wasn’t even at the last JPCA meeting!

(But Liz Crowley was – but we will have fun with that in my next post).

Question for my readers – How much longer before Tony Avella is attack by them??

Run, Tony, Run … away!

Crowley can't answer fraud charges - and JPCA doesn't care

Wow - what a turnaround for Bob Holden and the JPCA!!

Usually you start off as their person of the year, then being called “useless”.

Here JPCA, Holden, Christina, Nunziato have all called her unrepeatable names, but with a promise that if they help her win she will put our taxpayer money into the hands of the JPCA thru as nice fat grant, they can all be friends again!!

Poor Liz, she is so desperate to win Como’s seat that she would make a deal with the devil himself.

Take a look at what Holden and JPCA had to say about Crowley just a few short months ago:

Once again, the JPCA, Holden, Wilkinson and Tont Numbnuts are proving they are as impotent as a Unich. Bye Bye Bob and Tony!

Police taken on a strange chase in Queens

Eyewitness News
RICHMOND HILL (WABC) -- A Christina Wilkinson on the loose led police on a chase through the Richmond Hill section of Queens last night.

Eyewitness News is told the annoying bovine was corralled by a heard of police officers near the intersection of 107th Street and Park Lane South.

Wilkinson was believed to be the same four-legged fugitive first spotted in Ozone Park, Queens, at around 9 a.m. yesterday. At that time, numerous officers responded and were hot on her very large tail. But Wilkinson escaped the urban cowboys.

Christina apparently resurfaced at around 10 p.m. last night, near the intersection of Hillside Avenue and 121st street. Officers from the 102nd Precinct followed in patrol cars as Wilkinson hoofed it down city streets.

Como Named Rising Star?

It appears that our new councilman has been pounding the pavement and getting noticed by various media outlets. Giving him the title rising star, however, may be a bit premature, hey, but stranger things have happened.

I think if he doesn’t sing New York, New York during a council hearing, this kid may go places.

Anthony Como
City Council Member

Age: 34
Karaoke Song: “New York, New York,” by Frank Sinatra

Anthony Como needed just a few more credits to graduate with a major in political science from Queens College, so an advisor suggested an internship. After a few interviews, Como was invited to work at the office of State Sen. Serphin Maltese (R-Queens).

Within six months, Maltese offered Como a full-time position on his staff. Eventually, he became Maltese’s chief of staff. The experience was inspirational and taught him a love for public service, Como said.

But this year is when things began to really move. He won the special election to replace disgraced Council Member Dennis Gallagher, narrowly defeating Democrat Elizabeth Crowley.

This November, Como will face Crowley again—and, if he wins, possibly in another rematch next year, too.

When he is in need of advice, Como continues to turn to Maltese, who is facing his own close race this year.
“I make no qualms about it,” Como said of his fellow Queens Republican. “He’s been like a second father.”

How did your past jobs get you to where you are now? “Being a former prosecutor and chief counsel to the senator taught me how to best deliver—and know—what my district needs and how to provide for them. I’ve been in public service all my life.”

If you were not working in politics, what would you be doing? “If it wasn’t for politics, I’d still be a prosecutor. Being a prosecutor in the Queens County D.A.’s office—it’s one of the best offices I’ve ever worked for. He’s a great D.A. Love the camaraderie. Love the feel of the public service aspect.”

Five years from now, what is it going to say on your business card? “Hopefully, it’ll still say ‘Councilman.’”

A 'bench team' for change

Councilman Anthony Como, one of three Republicans on New York City's 51-seat council, acknowledges the urgent need for party expansion.

Como, 34, said he and the Queens County GOP are establishing a "bench team" of qualified Republicans ready to run for office when there's an opening.

"We have to continue reaching out to various ethnicities," said the newly elected Como, who represents parts of Queens. "We have to look into the youth and get them interested. It's the only way to get the party to survive and to move the party forward."

Testing Obama’s Lipstick on A Pig Theorem

Unfortunately, Barack Obama resorted to attacking Sarah Palin and soccer moms across the country by calling them pigs. However, we thought we put test the truthfulness of the statement that if you put lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig.

Yup, that’s a swine who loves wallowing in the mud

As you can see, maybe Obama was right, you can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig!

Holden Screws Veterans Again!

Not so long ago Bob Holden prevented Vietnam Veterans from hosting the “moving wall” memorial at Juniper Park and now he wants to take away a veteran’s right to have a beer with family and friends according to the Forum West. They are reporting that the entire membership of the Juniper Park Civic Association opposed the Haspel Staab Post 551 State Liquor License application. This is a disgrace. I would like to know if the entire membership voted on this motion. Any member of the JPCA who is a veteran should demand an apology from Holden.

The Haspel Staab Post 551 should have the right to conduct parties in accordance with the law and no one should tell them otherwise. We owe a debt a gratitude to our veterans and should always find was ways to repay and thank them for them service.

The brave men and women who served in our Armed Forces have earned the right to enjoy themselves because it is our veterans who gives sniveling Holden the right to spew his venom.

Bob Holden should be ashamed of himself but then again he doesn’t really know any better. Holden will never understand the meaning of the words honor, duty, bravery and sacrifice, he just a vindictive shallow shell of a human being.

God Bless Our Veterans

Palin Has Dems Wailin

If I was 30 years younger, had my hair, didn't suffer from erectile dysfunction and Mrs. Palin was single, I would pack up my things and move to Juno Alaska. That woman has the looks, the brains, the charisma and the presence that we need in politics today. Even my daughter-in-law who is a staunch democrat is impressed with Sarah Palin's poise, grace, intelligence and her ability to connect with everyday Americans.

She praised a great president with her statement, "My parents are here tonight, and I am so proud to be the daughter of Chuck and Sally Heath. Long ago, a young farmer and habber-dasher from Missouri followed an unlikely path to the vice presidency."

A writer observed: "We grow good people in our small towns, with honesty, sincerity, and dignity." I know just the kind of people that writer had in mind when he praised Harry Truman.

Palin eloquently neutralized Obama, "I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a "community organizer," except that you have actual responsibilities. I might add that in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening."

She took on the status quo, "And I've learned quickly, these past few days, that if you're not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone. But here's a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this country. Americans expect us to go to Washington for the right reasons, and not just to mingle with the right people."

She addressed the energy question, "To confront the threat that Iran might seek to cut off nearly a fifth of world energy supplies ... or that terrorists might strike again at the Abqaiq facility in Saudi Arabia ... or that Venezuela might shut off its oil deliveries ... we Americans need to produce more of our own oil and gas. And take it from a gal who knows the North Slope of Alaska: we've got lots of both. Our opponents say, again and again, that drilling will not solve all of America's energy problems - as if we all didn't know that already. But the fact that drilling won't solve every problem is no excuse to do nothing at all.

Here is my favorite part of the speech and where I fell in love, "And there is much to like and admire about our opponent. But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state senate.

This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word "victory" except when he's talking about his own campaign. But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed ... when the roar of the crowd fades away ... when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot - what exactly is our opponent's plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he's done turning back the waters and healing the planet? The answer is to make government bigger ... take more of your money ... give you more orders from Washington ... and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world. America needs more energy ... our opponent is against producing it.

Victory in Iraq is finally in sight ... he wants to forfeit.

Terrorist states are seeking nuclear weapons without delay ... he wants to meet them without preconditions.

Al Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America ... he's worried that someone won't read them their rights? Government is too big ... he wants to grow it.

Congress spends too much ... he promises more….

For a season, a gifted speaker can inspire with his words.

For a lifetime, John McCain has inspired with his deeds.

I'm in love.

Dizzy Lizzy Sells Soul to the Devil

Looks like Liz has sold her soul to Lucifer Holden. At a recent JPCA concert, the latest strange bedfellows have formed an unholy alliance on stage hoping that the two delusional losers can some how pull off a miracle win in November. It is amazing how quickly Holden can go from lambasting Dizzy Lizzy, calling her dimwitted, stupid, a political novice, a neophyte, an adulteress, a campaign finance fraud to gushing like a school boy playing spin the political bottle.

We wonder how Congressman Crowley feels about this partnership considering the dozens of attacks on his character in various issues of the Juniper Berry. We wonder how Christina Wilkenson feels about Bob Satan supporting the 'corrupt" County Machine appointed candidate. We wonder how Republican Candidate Tony Nunziato and his avid supporter Ed Kamperman feel about Demon Bob's support of the Democratic candidate. We wonder how Queens Crap feels about Holden supporting Bob Driscoll's previous client. Shame on you Bob for forsaking your friends!

It is amazing what people will do when desperate. Liz is desperate to win election at all cost even if it means to forgive Holden for all the vicious attacks on her and her family.

Holden continues to prove that he will do anything for his personal gain and retention of his imaginary power.

Anthony the Hut, a Preservationist?

We here at the Patriots don't believe the government should tell citizens what they can or cannot do with their private homes. Councilman Como was able to build a beautiful home for his family; however, he is telling people from Ridgewood they can't improve their homes. My friend, who lives in Ridgewood, is angry that he may have restrictions placed upon his desires to improve and expand his home because of this preservation push. C'mon Como tell the Landmarks Preservation Commission to leave our homes alone! This isn't Cuba
Here is the story printed by the Historic Council District

New Councilman from Queens Meets with LPC
August 5, 2008 by Historic Districts Council

Back in May, Councilmember (then-candidate) Como answered our questions for our League of Preservation Voters for District 30 and participated in our forum. It's early days yet, but any meeting between a Councilmember and a city agency which is characterized by both sides as "positive" and "constructive" can only be viewed as a step in the right direction.

New councilman Anthony Como vows to push landmarking in Queens
BY NICHOLAS HIRSHON, DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
Monday, August 4th 2008, 8:41 PM

Barely a month into his first term, City Councilman Anthony Como has boldly pledged to help landmark historic swaths of Richmond Hill and Ridgewood - and even areas outside of his eastern Queens district.

Como, picked in a June special election to replace Dennis Gallagher, made his vow days after what he called a "very positive" powwow with Landmarks Preservation Commission Chairman Robert Tierney - and months before Como faces another election in November.

"We live in the greatest city in the world and anything I can do to save its history and its culture, I'm all for it," said the Middle Village Republican, adding his sitdown with Tierney last week was a way to form a relationship "from the beginning."

During a two-hour meeting Tuesday at Landmarks Commission headquarters in Manhattan, Como told Tierney he supports historic districts in Richmond Hill and Ridgewood, as well as landmarking the Forest Park Carousel in Woodhaven.

The pair also talked about St. Saviour's Episcopal Church in Maspeth, built in 1847 but denied landmark status when the commission ruled that repairs after a 1970 fire had altered it too much.

Kate Daly, a commission spokeswoman, said the meeting with Como was "constructive," and that the agency was evaluating the sites he mentioned.

Bank Robbery In Ridgewood

Cross County Savings Bank on Fresh Pond Road and 60th Road in Ridgewood was robbed today. Police are investigating, stay tuned.....

PS. It was not, I repeat not, Christina Wilkenson looking for cash to pay her Arby's tab.

Shrillary Blames Edwards for Campaign Loss

The blame game was played on a new level today thanks to a former top aide to Shrillary Rotten Clinton. According to Howard Wolfson, Clinton would have won the Iowa caucuses had the John Edward affair been exposed earlier.

C'mon, Hillary knows first hand what sexual scandals can do for a political carreer, look at Slick Willy! He gets hundreds of thousands of dollars to spew rhetoric in front of various groups to teach them they art of the "deal".

Shrillary blaming Edwards for her political demise is like Bob Holden blaming Dennis Gallagher for Global warming.

November Election Madness

The New York Times provided readers with the above pictorial representation of the political musical chairs that will be played out this November. The chart looks like the bracket for March Madness so we reached out to Vegas Odds makers so we can start our own pool (for entertainment purposes only) and call it November Madness.

Looks like there is going to be a lot of back room wheeling, dealing and maybe a few souls will be sold in order to get key elected positions.

I heard that Bob Holden has been seen walking dark streets dressed as Ru Paul, selling favors, trying to raise money for Tony Avella and Tony Nunziato. It is amazing what some people will do for possible political patronage positions.

IRS Coming for Holden?

According to the Middle Village grapevine, it is rumored that Holden is feeling the heat regarding his questionable accounting scheme. It is well known that Bobby boy has engaged in creative record keeping and bottom table cash disbursements. He is President of the JPCA, President of the Midville Dodgers and President of the Juniper Park Conservancy and all three organizations have shuffled money from one entity to another. It is akin to Peter stealing from Paul to pay's John's vig debt.

There have been some interesting signs that indicate things are not going well for the maniacal despot, Robert Holden. Insiders say that he is in financial dire straights and that he can longer print the Juniper Berry Rag with wild abandoned. In addition, he has stepped down as president of the Midville Dodgers and has relinquished his control to a social misfit and cherished underling.

Crappy Kicks the Dog, Pokes the Bear, Wakes the Tiger and Drags Back the Repenter

I was visiting relatives for a few weeks, went fishing enjoyed some sight seeing and when I got back to New York I really didn't have the energy nor the inclination to continue the Patriots. My counter part was feeling the same way and we really wanted to stay on long vacation. But we just can't let the crap, Kaiser Holden, Corpulent Wilkenson, Down Syndrome Pamperman and Tony Numbnuts rule the insane asylum. Patrick Henry is the supreme psychotic maniac who would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven! Let the fun begin again.

To "let sleeping dogs lie" is to avoid restarting old conflicts. Revisiting an old conflict is like waking a sleeping dog; Queens Crap, Bob Holden, Christina Wilkenson and Tony Nunziato are too stupid to let the patriot pooch snooze on the cyber porch.

Don't poke the Henry bear because this could have devastating results. The bear could bite Holden's scrawny ass, or Christina's enormous ass, or Ed's saggy ass, or Tony's pompous ass!

Don't wake the sleeping tiger. Look what happened to the Japanese when they attacked Pearl Harbor and woke up the United States. The bombs are coming Crappy and Bob, Christina, Ed and Tony better start walking the streets with steel pots on their heads.

Patrick Corleone: Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

Pork Lite (Updated)

Here's the latest Schedule C - the list of discretionary funding (AKA "pork" ) that will be doled out by the Council in the coming year.

It's $46 million, which is 8 percent less than last year's $50 million.

Despite the reduction, even the Council's newest member - Queens Republican Anthony Como - who was just sworn in earlier this month, got member item cash.

More than 2,000 nonprofits were awarded grants, but some 200 - including the Brooklyn-based Donna Reid Memorial Education fund, which was at the heart of the first indictments of the ongoing Council slush fund probe - got nothing at all.

There's a lot of anger out there in the nonprofit world, and a number of cultural institutions are predicting the reduction in funds could lead to layoffs.

UPDATE: The speaker's press office on Sunday released a list of errors in Schedule C. It appears in full after the jump.

A small number of organizations that were erroneously listed in Schedule C have been identified.

The errors identified thus far are as follows:
Section 1 of Schedule C:

* DYCD Food Pantries Initiative, Page 46
Planned Parenthood is listed erroneously with an allocation of $368,000.

Section 2 of Schedule C:

* Alliance for Community Services is listed erroneously for allocations of $135,000 and $11,500 on page 5 and for $51,714 on page 148.

* For A Better Bronx is erroneously listed with a $10,000 allocation on page 42.

* SCAN-New York Volunteer Parent * Aides Association, Inc. has been identified erroneously as a fiscal conduit on page 158.

* Parkville Youth Organization, Inc. is listed erroneously with a $5,000 allocation on page 164.
* Man Up is listed erroneously with a $40,000 allocation on page 172.

* Bronx African American Chamber of Commerce is listed erroneously with a $10,000 allocation on page 179.

* Project Renewal is listed erroneously in Section 2 and should be listed in Section 1 under Homeless Services.

* Chess in Schools is listed erroneously in Section 2 and should be listed in Section 1 under Youth and Community Development.

* Young Women's Leadership Foundation is listed erroneously in Section 2 and should be listed in Section 1 under Education.

Once the Council has gathered additional information on any other errors in Schedule C, and has received additional information from the State Attorney General and the Mayor's Office of Contract Services on the status of the organizations listed with an asterisk as pending, a transparency resolution will be publicly considered and voted on this summer.

The Council will notify each relevant agency of the above errors and direct that these funds not to be processed.

Tony Causes Truck to Overturn

This is what happens when Truck drivers realize Tony 'Tulips' Nunziato is running for office.

"Did I do that?"

Famous Queens Resident Series, Part XXXVIII

Jimmy Durante - The big-nosed actor used to live on 161st Street near Bowne Park with his first wife, "Mrs. Calabash."

Comedian, composer, actor, singer and songwriter ("Inka Dinka Doo") Jimmy Durante was educated in New York public schools. He began his career as a Coney Island pianist, and organized a five-piece band in 1916. He opened the Club Durant with Eddie Jackson and Lou Clayton, with whom he later formed a comedy trio for vaudeville and on television. He appeared in the Broadway musicals "Show Girl", "The New Yorkers", "Strike Me Pink", "Jumbo", "Red Hot and Blue", and "Stars in Your Eyes". By 1936, he had appeared at the Palladium in London. Later he had his own radio and television shows, and was a featured headliner in night clubs.
Biographer Gene Fowler wrote his biography, "Schnozzola". Joining ASCAP in 1941, he collaborated musically with Jackie Barnett and Ben Ryan, and his other popular song compositions include "I'm Jimmy That Well-Dressed Man", "I Know Darn Well I Can Do Without Broadway", "I Ups to Him and He Ups to Me", "Daddy Your Mamma Is Lonesome For You", "Umbriago", "Any State In the Forty-Eight", "Chidabee Chidabee Chidabee", and "I'm Jimmy's Girl".

Daughter Cecilia is a horseback-riding instructor, is married to a computer designer, lives near San Diego, and has two sons

For years he signed off his radio and TV shows with "Goodnight Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are", but he would never divulge who she was. Some speculated it was a "code name" for a current or former lover, some doubted she ever existed. It was not until after his death in 1980 that it was revealed she was, indeed, a real person.

According to the book, "Hollywood Trivia," (Greenwich House, 1984), by David P. Strauss, Jimmy Durante's famous "Mrs. Calabash" sign-off referred to his first wife, Jeanne Olson. Calabash was the name of a Chicago suburb they both liked.

Comic Sonny King, who worked with Durante during his career, stated in an interview that the mysterious "Mrs. Calabash" was indeed Jimmy's late wife Jeanne Olson, but "Calabash" was a reference to Calabasas, California, where she was hospitalized in her later years. She had difficulty in pronouncing the city name, often calling it "Calabash", and it became an inside joke for the Durantes.

Dropped out of school in the eighth grade and a couple of years later played ragtime piano for a living, taking jobs wherever he could, including bars, cabarets and whorehouses. He became known for a time as "Ragtime Jimmy."

Also made a living as a bandleader and talent booker.

Famous for a number of other beloved catch-phrases besides the "Mrs. Calabash" routine, including: "It's a catastrophe!", "I'm mortified!" "Surrounded by assassins!", "Everybody wants ta get inta da act!, and "Hotch-cha-cha-cha-cha!"

Sang the famous 'Frosty The Snowman' song.

Biography in: "Who's Who in Comedy" by Ronald L. Smith. Pg. 146-148. New York: Facts on File, 1992.

A legal challenge to his adoption of daughter CeCe late in life, on the grounds that he was too old to care for such a young child, was dismissed by a judge, who said, "I've heard this man sing 'Young at Heart.'

His voice was the inspiration for that of the dog in the Tom and Jerry cartoons.

Has a street named after him on the east side of Las Vegas, Nevada.
